There are many definitions of an overcomer. One being this: to prevail over a temptation, opposition, a debility. Another definition is: to get th better of in a struggle or conflict, conquer or defeat. I would say that we all have overcome something then. Revelations 3:21 says..He who overcomes (is victorious) I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I, myself overcame, (was victorious) and sat down beside my Father on his throne. KJV We have that assurance that because we are an overcomer in him, we shall see our Lord and Savior and be able to be seated with him in glory! Some of you may have been abused, misused, mistreated, told you were never going to be anything, nor accomplish anything but look at you now! Some of you had addictions: drugs, alcohol, ovreating, sexual addictions, eating disorders, but you made it with th help of the Lord and loved ones. Some of you lost loved ones in a tragic manner, some to violence, others to cancer, HIV, and it took you a while to gt over it. You made it, you survived! Now you have a testimony! You have something to share with the world. A gift, a talent, a business, a ministry. God wants us to get up and get moving. Do something to bring about change.
